Can players explore the map without editing it?

Yes. Every map has a shareable player view with a private token — players see markers you have made public but cannot edit anything.

Why an interactive Faerûn map?

The Forgotten Realms is one of the largest fantasy settings ever published: dozens of regions, hundreds of cities, and centuries of lore. A static PDF map cannot keep up with a running campaign. An interactive atlas lets you reveal locations as your party discovers them, hide spoilers, and hand your players a clickable table-of- contents for the world.

Step-by-step

Create the base map. Open the map generator and either upload art you own (a hand-drawn Sword Coast, a commissioned regional map) or generate a procedural world. Save it as a new map in your atlas.
Plot the great cities. Add markers for Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, Candlekeep and any other landmark your campaign touches. Give each one a short description and rich-text lore.
Connect regions with portals. Use the portal marker type to link a city marker to a detailed sub-map — a Waterdeep street map, a Undermountain dungeon level, or a regional map of the Dalelands. Players click and travel.
Design faction banners. Create factions for the Harpers, the Zhentarim, the Lords' Alliance and the Cult of the Dragon. The procedural banner designer produces unique heraldry per faction at zero storage cost.
Share a player view. Toggle public visibility per marker, generate a share link, and send it to your party. Players see only what you have revealed — no editing, no spoilers.
